What we are about.
The Wild Men From Borneo played in the Phuket Sixes competition nearly every year from 2005 until 2015 and gained a very healthy following of supporters.
The aim of the team is to play hard, laugh and party harder and support your mates through the good times and bad (Mental Health).
In 2017, the WMFB conducted our first golf tour (too old for that cricket stuff) to Thailand, playing in Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Bangkok.
The tour lasted 10 days and the famous Jungle Juice appeared numerous time on the tour to wreak havoc.
Tour Preparation
Before each event a team tour document is developed in order to minimise stuff ups in logistics and ensure that the team know what the requirements of the tour are.
The tour package outlines critical information such as:
- first pub we are to meet at
- fines session times
- job allocation (from bar person to water-person)
- where we are actually staying; and most importantly
- when we will be playing
